It is a place of physical shelter, psychological and spiritual encouragement to its residents. It is a place where the residents acquire a sense of belonging and ownership by contributing in diverse ways within their capabilities to its functioning and development. Cheshire Homes in Nigeria, formally known as LIEPO Cheshire Foundation, now Cheshire Disability Homes was established by Pioneers who bought into the vision of Captain Leonard Cheshire in 1959.
There are five different branches of Cheshire Disability Homes across the nation, Nigeria. The Headquarters is located in Ibadan, Oyo State known as Oluyole Cheshire Home. Other branches are in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Orlu(Imo state), and Enugu.
